The goal of “Project Dontabhaktuni” is to create training and mentoring programs for students and scientists all over the world that need to overcome the challenges of drug development particularly in the area of pharmacometrics, leading to expediting drug development, appropriate drug therapy, and better patient outcomes.
About Project Dontabhaktuni
This is a nonprofit organization created to support curious students and scientists from all around the world, in the field of drug development and pharmacometrics. The objective of this project is to guide and empower them in achieving their career goals, by providing free workshops, and access to mentoring programs. The mission of the organization is to provide a platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge science and technology, related to drug development, that is non-existent in developing regions of the world, to assist regional drug development efforts focused on treating debilitating diseases which are regionally clustered.
In the past few years, the field of clinical pharmacology and pharmacometrics has expanded and the training programs are unable to keep up with the growing demand. In many parts of the world, there is a lack of training programs in this area of expertise. “Project Dontabhaktuni’s” objective is to address this gap while empowering this untapped resource for the betterment of the quality of life in medically under-served regions around the world. The Bigger mission of this project is to make healthcare accessible and affordable for all. By directly contributing to expanding the knowledge base which will lead to increasing the reach of healthcare and further contributing to reduction in the health healthcare costs around the world.
Currently, there are many budding students, scientists, attending physicians, academicians, and clinical pharmacists throughout the world who would like to learn the skills in order to use pharmacometrics tools in their research and medical practice. The program intends to bring cutting-edge science to them and provide them with the tools and support of mentors to grow their skill sets.
